Men Learn the Value of "Burning The Ships"
A surprise greeted this year's conference attendees, snow still covered much of the grounds at Woodleaf. The snow did not prevent the spirit from moving however, Speaker Josh Riebok.
Riebock who earlier this year spoke at Sunrise Community Church and Quail Lakes Baptist church returned to Northern California for the 2011 conference. The 218 men in attendance worshiped freely as they were led by Trevor Hislop.
Examples of what it means to Burn the ships of past hurts, trials or failures that have held them back from truly living for god and being all they can be. Mike Sutton and Dan Faddling gave very moving testimonies that were extremely relevant to the conference theme. Several men came to christ and many others rededicated their lives to Christ.
More than 263 Men Attend 2010 Men's Conference
It was a life changing event for many of the men at the 2010 Men's conference featuring speaker Stu Weber. The 263 men in attendance experienced a roof raising worship experience during the Saturday night session. Throughout the weekend Weber explained the importance of becoming a Warrior Soul for Jesus and what he considers the essential skills to effectively lead in our homes and communities. On Saturday evening many men surrendered their lives to Christ for the first time while several others made re-commitments.
